Roc appoints
new CEO to lead growth strategy

Roc Technologies are delighted to announce that Simon Furber has been appointed as their new CEO.
Following this appointment, Simon Derry, who had been acting as Roc's interim CEO for the past few months, will return to his role as Non-Executive Chairman.

Simon Furber has a 25-year history in leadership roles in IT, initially in software and then in a number of Managed Services providers, focusing on contact centre, networking and Microsoft Cloud technologies. Most notably, Simon was MD of Call Centre Technology when it was acquired by Capita, where he led the build of the Technology Solutions business (later divested as Trustmarque) and supported strong organic growth with a number of complementary acquisitions. The business provided a full range of Managed Services and IT outsource across a variety of technologies and sectors.

More recently, Simon was CFO & COO of Cloud Direct in Bath, a Microsoft Azure Expert MSP.

As Roc continues to look towards the future, Simon will be pivotal in working alongside the board in leading the business' growth and success.

Extending his excitement in joining the Roc team, Simon F commented: "I'm delighted to be appointed to lead Roc through its next exciting chapter, building on the excellent platform created in the past few years and focusing on accelerating the growth of the business".

Simon F has joined the Board of Roc Technologies which includes, amongst others, Matt Franklin-Wilson and Steve Shirley who originally founded the Roc business.
