Today Roc Technologies announces that Matt Franklin is stepping down as CEO, to be succeeded by Ian Furness.
Ian joined Roc as the Managing Director in January 2020 as part of the board’s succession plan, with a remit to work with our founders and investors in developing the next stage plans, alongside taking on the day to day running of the business, which included leading the business through the pandemic.
Matt is not leaving the business but will shift his attention to working with Ian on developing our M&A strategy as part of our longer-term growth aspirations as our Chief Strategy Officer. He will also maintain his role on the Roc Board.
Ian Furness says: “Building on Roc’s history and strengths, we aim to be the trusted partner for our customers by building a business that is easy to work with and for. I’m excited about the future, and I’d like to thank Matt for all his support since I joined and look forward to working with him on our M&A plans.”
Matt Franklin added “Having worked with Ian to successfully guide the business through this period, I’m pleased to complete the handover of my CEO responsibilities knowing I am leaving them in good hands. This will allow me to spend my time on our M&A strategy as part of our longer-term growth aspirations as our Chief Strategy Officer, whilst continuing with my role as a member of the Roc Board.”
